Would you like to coach at St. Peter’s School?

All coaches and assistant coaches for all sports must pass a background check before becoming a volunteer with student athletes. Applications can be requested from Kathy Bourque, Athletic Director. Once completed, please return to Sally Euston in the school office with a check for $10 made out to St. Peter’s School.

All coaches and assistant coaches need to attend a Protecting God’s Children course offered through the Parochial League Kansas City (PLKC). Please provide a copy of certificate of completion to Sally Euston in the school office. Locations and dates are in the link below. This is a one time requirement of all parishioners, coaches, and any other adults who volunteer in the diocese.

Protecting God’s Children Training

PLKC requires completion of a Play Like a Champion course for coaches and assistant coaches. There are on-site or on-line certification options. Re-certification is required once every two years. Course dates and locations are in the links below. The St. Peter’s Athletic Committee (SPAC) is willing to reimburse for the cost of this training if requested by volunteers. For questions, please contact the individual sports coordinator on the SPAC.
